Older Adults
We believe that people of every age matter deeply to God and to our church family. As we grow older, spiritual encouragement, meaningful relationships, and practical care become even more important—and we are committed to walking alongside one another through every season of life.
Our Older Adults Ministry exists to care for seniors both spiritually and practically, creating spaces where friendships can flourish, faith can be strengthened, and joy can be shared. We do this in a number of ways, including two regular gatherings that offer connection, encouragement, and fun.
Open House is a monthly group for all seniors, meeting on the third Monday of each month at 2pm in the church hall. It’s a relaxed and friendly afternoon with time to socialise, enjoy a guest speaker, and support a charitable cause through optional giving—rounded off with delicious refreshments.
We also run Rendezvous, which meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 2pm. This group focuses especially on friendship and spiritual care. Gatherings include a cup of tea, games, a speaker, and regular off-site trips that help deepen relationships and create lasting memories.
Whether you’re looking for community, encouragement, or simply a warm place to belong, you are very welcome to join us.
