Sundays at Hope

When you arrive on a Sunday morning at Hope Baptist Church Plymouth, you can expect a warm welcome, a relaxed atmosphere, and a genuine sense of community. We’d recommend arriving by 10:15am to find a seat and, if needed, register any children or young people for their groups. Our host team, easily spotted in their red t-shirts, will be on hand to greet you, help you find your way around, and answer any questions you may have.

A typical Sunday begins with everyone gathered together for a time of vibrant, heartfelt worship, creating space to encounter God as a whole church family. After this, our children and young people head to their age-specific groups—our full 0–18s programme—where they enjoy fun, engaging, and meaningful sessions designed to help them grow in faith.

Once the young people leave for their groups, we continue in worship and then hear a powerful and relevant message from the Bible, rooted in truth and applied to everyday life. We then move into a further time of worship and response, giving space to reflect, pray, and lean into what God might be doing in our lives.

At the end of the service, we serve refreshments, offering a relaxed opportunity to meet others, catch up with friends, and build relationships within the church family. Whether you're new to church, returning after some time away, or looking for a place to belong, you’ll find Hope Baptist to be welcoming, accessible, and open to all—come just as you are.
