Soup Run

One of the core ministries at Hope is our involvement in the Soup Run. Every Monday evening, this vital outreach operates from Hope Baptist Church, bringing together a team made up of people from several local organisations alongside many faithful volunteers from our church family.

Together, the team prepares and delivers soup and food using the church minibus, stopping at four different locations across Plymouth. Come rain or shine, week after week, we serve those who are homeless or struggling to afford food, offering not just a meal but kindness, dignity, and hope.

We believe that showing the practical love of God is an essential part of the gospel. Alongside the food, a team of trained Prayer Pastors from the church goes out each week to listen, talk, and pray with anyone who would like support or encouragement.

Through this ministry, we seek to love our city as Christ loves us—meeting practical needs while pointing to the deeper hope found in Him.
