Children at Hope
At Hope Baptist Church we’re proud to be a family church, where children and families are valued, welcomed, and encouraged to grow together in faith. We love creating spaces where families can belong, build friendships, and explore what it means to follow Jesus at every stage of life. Our children’s work is overseen by Rebekah, our Children’s Outreach Worker, who leads the ministry with creativity, compassion, and a real heart to see children encounter Jesus in ways they can understand.
During the week we run a parent and baby group every Tuesday, a parent and toddler group every Wednesday, and a weekly Kids Club for school years 1–4 on Tuesdays, offering fun, supportive environments for both children and parents. On Sundays we provide age-appropriate groups for children aged 0–11 as part of our church gatherings. Beyond this, we’re involved in schools work in several local primary schools, take a group of children to SPREE each summer, and host a range of special events throughout the year, including light parties, family events, and a variety of outreach activities. Through all we do, our desire is to partner with families and help children know they are deeply loved by God and an important part of the Hope church family.
