It's almost easter and at Hope we will be celebrating the greatest day in history in a variety of ways as we walk through holy week as a church. Here are some of the ways that you can get involved.
Sunday 29th March 6.30pm - Screening of the chosen
As we start holy week together, we will be showing an episode of 'the chosen' at church on the Sunday evening, focussing on the events of the last supper. You would be most welcome to join us!
Monday 30th March 7pm - 8pm Holy Week Prayer meeting
On Monday evening, we will gather to reflect and pray around the events of Holy week. We will meet in the youth centre at Hope Baptist Church. Come and join us for htis hour of prayer
Tuesday 31st March/Wednesday1st April - 7am Morning devotions online
Luke and Zoe will lead us in a morning devotion. This will be broadcast on both our facebook and youtube channels
Thursday 2nd April - Lunch and Communion 12pm
As we enter into Maunday Thursday, you are invited to join us for a soup lunch, followed by communion as we reflect on all the events of this day.
Friday 3rd April - Good Friday service 10.30am
Join us for a reflective service as we remember all that Jesus did when he died on the cross at Calvary.
2.30pm-4pm - Messy Easter - Family event
Come and explore the easter story as a family. Through games, stories crafts and more, this is a free event aimed at primary school children, but all children are welcome. Sunday 5th April - Easter Sunday celebration with baptisms 10.30am
Join us as we celebrate all that Jesus has done, here testimonies of new life and find out what Jesus rising from the dead means for you! Everyone welcome!
